Debt – How the Law of Attraction Will Help You Get Out of Debt

Budget, debt, personal finance

If you want to get out of debt, the first thing you need to do is change your attitude. Have you ever noticed when you meet someone that’s broke, they think they’ll never get out of debt?

Thought processes you need to change to get out of debt:

“The world’s just not fair today.”

· “Well, do not expect to make any money when it goes into winter season.”

· “I have to take what I can get.”

· “It’s my husband’s / wife’s fault I can not get out of debt.”

Thought processes that bring abundance into your life:

“The world is abundant.”

· “Opportunities are everywhere.”

· “If I follow my desires and goals, I will be successful.”

· “I am going to start a savings account and put something in it every week, no matter what.”

It’s obvious which set of these attitudes are negative. Yet, somehow, they’re easy to fall into. Most of the time when I meet people in a lower socio-economic class, they have huge messes in their lives. In fact, they think they have so many that it’s hopeless.

While we see that some people get rich when the economy is good, other people are able to make it even though the economy is in a slump. The book, The Secret , was basically about the law of attraction. If you think it, you call it into the universe.

Keep in mind that The Secret was taken from resources like Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich . He wrote this during The Great Depression. And the law of attraction has exhausted for centuries. Fortunately, we live in the information age, and more and more people are gaining access to methods that attract abundance into their lives.

I’m going to take that a step further and say if you do it, you make it happen for yourself on a daily basis. Seriously, it’d be nice to think that staring at a check that says “$ 1,000,000” on your ceiling each night as you crawl into bed will bring money into your account, but you need to take it a step further and make just a minimal effort every day towards your end goals and desires.

This could be as simple as tackling a mess every month. Is your garage dirty? Is your desk cluttered? Is your lawn overgrown? I do not care if you make time to do it yourself or you hire a cleaning service or lawn maintenance. When you clean up the messes in your life, your outlook will change.

One thing I’ve noticed is that my life can be 95% great and 5% messes, and I’ll concentrate on those messes. If you do not start cleaning up your messes, you’ll attract more messes into your life. You probably do not even have as many as you think. Make a list and tackle one each month.

People that want to get out debt are doing much more than just paying their bills. They’re changing the way they think to a healthier and more positive attitude.
